A complete exam for professional drivers.

Each examination includes the components required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, including a health history review, physical examination, vision screening, hearing screening, urinalysis, vital signs, and any additional requirements necessary to determine medical qualification. If qualified, you'll receive your Medical Examiner's Certificate.

What to bring

Come prepared, leave certified.

  • Valid photo ID or driver's license
  • List of current medications (names and dosages)
  • Names and phone numbers of your treating providers
  • Glasses, contacts, or hearing aids if you use them
  • CPAP compliance report (if applicable)
  • Recent lab work for diabetes or blood pressure (if applicable)

What to expect

A calm, thorough exam.

We'll review your health history, take vitals, check vision and hearing, and perform the physical exam elements required by federal regulations.

Dr. Lowe takes time to answer questions and, if anything comes up, will explain the next steps clearly so you know how to move forward.

Most drivers leave the office the same day with a completed Medical Examiner's Certificate valid for up to 24 months.
